Webinar: The Maker Movement in Education

3D Printing Profs has released a new webinar, and we are ready to learn about education.

Find out what One Foundation, also known as Infosys Foundation USA, is doing to spread maker education across America. The foundation’s focus is to create opportunities for K-12 students to engage in STEM, arts and design through making.

In order to spread maker skills to schools, Infosys is hosting the Infy Maker Awards, a contest open to schools, libraries and organizations in the US. Organizations that win the contest will receive a $10,000 grant, a Maker education professional development package, and travel support to attend Crossroads, the Foundation’s annual Computer Science and Maker education conference in Scotts Valley, CA.

During the webinar, we will speak with Chairperson and President Kaustav Mitra and Senior Program Fellow Stephanie Santoso who will describe their work with the foundation as well as more details on their upcoming contest.
